In Vivo Micro-CT Imaging
QUANTUM FX µCT
The Quantum FX system is the first stand alone μCT (micro CT) system to deliver high quality images at an X-ray dose low enough to enable true longitudinal μCT in preclinical studies. With Quantum FX you can follow and characterize disease progression throughout your complete study using μCT (microCT) at every imaging point. With an 18 second scan time that delivers a radiation doses less than most 2D X-ray imagers, you can be confident that your biological model will remain relevant throughout the span of your experiment. Fast imaging and smooth workflow also enable the throughput required to scan cohorts of animals quickly and draw sound conclusions from your experimental data.

IVIS Spectrum CT
The IVIS® Spectrum CT offers the ultimate performance and range of applications for in vivo imaging – leading edge molecular AND anatomical imaging in a single integrated system. The IVIS Spectrum CT was designed to offer the ultimate range of applications for in vivo and longitudinal imaging. The system enables synchronization of functional and anatomical data simultaneously and co-registered for true quantitative 3D imaging.
The IVIS Spectrum CT maintains the versatility and the most advanced optical features similar to the world leading imaging platform, the IVIS Spectrum. Moreover, the IVIS Spectrum CT offers low dose and ultrafast microCT for multiple animals, simultaneously. The average dose per scan is about 10mGy with scanning and reconstruction times of less than a minute.
The Spectrum CT feature sets includes:
- 3D optical tomography for fluorescence and bioluminescence
- The industry’s most sensitive detection technology ideal for:
- Bioluminescence
- Multispectral fluorescence and spectral unmixing
- Cerenkov imaging for optical radiotracer imaging - Low dose and ultra fast microCT
- DYCE dynamic enhanced imaging for real time distribution studies of both fluorochromes or PET tracers ideal for PK/PD applications
